Identification - Large (male) dark brown moth. Female is reddish brown. These moths fly in the late afternoon.

Flight times: May-June

Wing Span: 75-95 mm / 3-4 inches

Caterpillar Host Plants: Wild cherry and other trees. Adult moths do not feed.

Habitat: Deciduous Woods
